Condolences have been paid to Renee Joseph of Jacmel, Anse La Raye, who succumbed to her injuries on January 2, 2016, after being struck by a bicycle on Tuesday, December 29, 2015.
Renee, 48, has been regarded as a “great woman” in the community, who is always friendly, courteous and helpful to residents of Anse La Raye.
While her son, Dwight (only name given) was not prepared to speak about the incident, friends and residents expressed their sympathies under a picture he posted on his Facebook page.
Dwight said in his post: “May you find comfort in the enduring beauty of God’s world and in the warmth of happy memories with the passing of time, may the spirit of acceptance and inner peace enfold you. Love you Mom.”
Meanwhile, Andrea Andii Simon wrote: “I will miss seeing you and laughing with you old friend. This is sad, really sad. I never got to say good bye to you. It’s not going to be the same when I come home and you’re not around. Too many people dying, I can’t handle it.”
Anya Nichole Johnny wrote: “Wow.I’m so sorry. Ms. Renee was a nice lady to me. RIP. Be strong friend.”
A post-mortem has been scheduled for today, Tuesday, January 5, 2016.
