Emergency services attended to a collision that took place at around 10 p.m. on Wednesday, near MJI Hotel at Rodney Bay, involving a motorcar and a motorcycle.
Reports are that both the rider and driver were hospitalized following the tragic incident. The motorcyclist reportedly suffered injuries to his pelvic area.
This publication understands that the motor car was heading North, while the motorcycle was heading South, when the incident occurred.
It is not clear if these individuals are still being treated or whether they have been released from hospital.
