An elderly man was reportedly hit by a vehicle in Dennery on Monday morning.
The incident reportedly occurred at about 8:30 a.m. December, 21.
Reports are that the senior citizen was walking along High Street, when the vehicle came into contact with him, knocking him of his feet and causing him to fall onto the road.
This publication understands, however, that the elderly man did not sustain any major injury and had initially declined being taken to hospital via ambulance.
He eventually gave into the advice of passersby and went to the hospital for an assessment.
