DEAD: Benjamin Edmund
PRESS RELEASE – Police are investigating a fatal accident which occurred on Friday, April 29, 2016 about 5:45 p.m. on Beanfield High Road in Vieux Fort.
Motorbike registration number PE 5288 driven by 31 year old, Benjamin Edmund of Cedar Heights, Vieux Fort was travelling in a northerly direction when it collided with motor omnibus registration number PC 7503 driven by Mahoud Janourah of Rodney Heights, Gros-Islet which was travelling in the opposite direction.
As a result of the collision, Edmund drove into an electrical pole. He was transported to the St Jude Hospital where he succumbed to injuries.
Investigations continue into this matter.
