The victim who died in the Sunday crash at Roseau has been identified as 38-year-old Ernest St. Omer.
St. Omer was travelling in Roseau at about 5 p.m., when his vehicle ran off the road and crashed.
The deceased, who resides at Bocage, was driving a Mitsubishi car (registration PJ 9580) and was heading in the direction of Anse La Raye, when the incident occurred.
Initial reports had indicated that St. Omer had a faint pulse, when emergency services arrived on the scene.
He was seen unconscious, with blood on his face and chest, while still remaining strapped to his seat belt.
He was transported to hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
