PRESS RELEASE – Police are investigating a fatal accident which occurred on Sunday, March 20, 2016 about 9:45 p.m. on the Vieux Fort Highway in the Canelles area.
Motor cycle registration number PK 200 was driven by 29 year old Francis Giraudy of Corinth Gros-Islet, when it run-off the pitch surface of the road.
As a result, Giraudy sustained multiple injuries to the body.
He was transported to the St. Jude Hospital where he was pronounced dead by a medical doctor.
Investigations continue into this matter.
