A motorcyclist has been hospitalized following an accident along the Choiseul/Laborie thoroughfare.
Reports are that the cyclist was heading southbound when a white jeep allegedly cut him off, turning into incoming traffic, while he was heading in the opposite direction.
The driver of the jeep, according to a police officer, claimed never seeing nor hearing the loud roar of the bike.
The incident is reported to have occurred on Monday, February 15, around 9 a.m.
Eyewitnesses said the man pitched off his motorcycle and landed on his side, sustaining a broken arm and a few fractures.
Based on the impact of the accident the front wheel of his motorcycle broke off.
When emergency responders arrived at the scene, the man was seen some 20 feet away from his motorcycle.
The unidentified motorcyclist was taken to hospital and is said to be in a stable condition.
