Police were called to the scene of a four vehicle accident Sunday evening, Jan.10.
It happened near Volney’s Gas Station at Reduit, at about 7 p.m.
The accident involved a van (PE9818) and three other vehicles (TX704, HE49 and TX 327).
One of the passengers, a British tourist, sustained injuries, but was taken to the hospital.
Reports are that the van, which was travelling in a southerly direction allegedly slammed into the buses before coming to a halt.
The driver of the said vehicle was reportedly under the influence of alcohol and allegedly took responsibility for the accident.
Investigations are ongoing.
