A house was partially destroyed by fire on Sunday in Barre Denis, fire officials have confirmed.
The incident is reported to have occurred around 11.a.m. Sunday (Sep.11).
A woman of unsound mind may have been responsible for starting the fire, fire officials said.
The woman allegedly set a mattress alight, causing it to spread to other parts of the two-story building.
Fire officials said the bottom section of the building was concrete while upstairs was wood.
The bottom flat was occupied by one person and the top flat housed a bar.
The building measured an estimated 45 feet by 50 feet.
