Two females are dead after the car they were travelling in crashed in Mon Repos.
Police responded around 1:30 a.m. Sunday to the accident.
The driver of the car, believed to be travelling at a high rate of speed, lost control and struck a pole, police have said.
The vehicle had five persons in it at the time of the accident. The others were injured.
One of the victims has been identified as Vita.
